ENTRE EXTREMOS - SHIRIN NESHAT

A exposição "Shirin Neshat - Entre Extremos" aconteceu no Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil do Rio de Janeiro em 2002.

O Show inclui quatro instalações audiovisuais, uma sala dedicada ao universo simbólico do artista, uma sala destinada às referencias musicais e um terceiro espaço literário. Marcello Dantas é o curador do Show, a produção e a organização são coordenadas pelo Instituto Arte Viva e pelo CCBB, o patrocinador da exposição.
Todas as instalações são telas duplas justapostas uma na outra, em posição frontal ou lateral. Esta gramática de extremos e contrastes é a marca de Shirin e aparece pelo show inteiro.

BETWEEN EXTREMES - SHIRIN NESHAT

This Exhibition was held at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, Rio de Janeiro, in 2002.

The Show consists of a 4 Video and Sound installation, a reference room of the artist symbolic universe, a music reference room and a space of literary reference. Marcello Dantas is the curator of the Show, the production and organization is by Instituto Arte Viva and CCBB, the exhibition's sponsor.
All the installations are double screens overlapped one another, either opposite to each other or side by side. This grammar of extremes and contrasts is Shirin`s mark and it permeates the whole Show.
